Italy's most celebrated wine landscape — from Brunello di Montalcino and Carmignano to the Super Tuscans of Bolgheri.

Tuscany is Italian wine's most storied region — spanning Brunello di Montalcino in the south, the Chianti Classico heartland in the middle, and the Super Tuscan coast of Bolgheri in the west. Sangiovese is the thread that connects them all, though the blending of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot — pioneered in Carmignano centuries before the Super Tuscan revolution — has given Tuscany a second identity.
