Rhône Valley

The Rhône Valley runs from Lyon south to Avignon — a river of vineyards that moves from the cool granite hillsides of Condrieu and Hermitage in the north to the sun-baked galets roulés of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the south. The north is dominated by Syrah; the south by Grenache and its blending partners.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is where we concentrate — carrying wines from three of the appellation's finest estates: Vieux Télégraphe, Domaine de la Janasse, and Château de Beaucastel (whose Hommage à Jacques Perrin earned 100 points from Robert Parker for the 2010 vintage).
